The story of a photographer

I'm Tyler McAuley, a Chicago photographer. I found Photoshop at 15 and spent years editing other people's photos before I picked up a camera myself. Ten years later, I haven't put it down. I shoot dance and movement — dark rooms, hard light, bodies caught mid-feeling. Before photography I trained as an actor (BFA from East Carolina, Second City improv in Chicago) and appeared on Chicago Fire and Shameless.
